ACKSON, Miss. -- Reggie Bush trotted onto the field Tuesday in style, with sparkling gold-rimmed shoes and gold-tipped cleats -- a fitting entrance for the super-hyped rookie in his first practice of training camp.

Gold shoes! NO!! NO!!!!! THE SHEER HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a horrible human being you are for wearing gold on your shoes, EVEN THOUGH gold is the same color that the team you play for wears on their helmets and uniforms, Mr. Bush. You are a despicible excuse for a man!

Horrible human being? No.

Showboating jackass? Yes.

I hope vets give him a proper initiation.

How does wearing shoes that match the color of the team he's on make him a showboating jackass?

I would be willing to bet the rest of the team were wearing the same shoes. It just wasn't reported that way.

Honestly, no. After seeing that pic, I'd say whoever wrote that is the jackass.

Deion had -- I cant remember if it was with Washington or Dallas -- a $35,000 golf cart that he used to get to and from the practice field. It was done up to look like a Mercedes and was a low rider with rims and fat tires all that 'gangsta' crap. I just remember seeing that thing in a show about one of the camps. It was hilarious.

I can't shake the feeling that this guy will be a flameout. Everything leading up to his career is begging for him to bust. Petitioning to change an NFL rule so he can wear #5, threatening to hold out an entire season and re-enter the draft, showing up late to camp in a "look at me" outfit.

One thing's certain. Reggie Bush has bought into the Reggie Bush hype.

Exactly...He hasn't done anything good or bad on an NFL field yet and he has been great for the city of NO. Of course, I'm a USC fan (my wife's alma matre), so he gets a bye from me for now.

my biggest (and really only) problem with Reggie Bush is the fact that he's the "face" of EA sports NCAA football '07.

Hello..... is he still playing in the friggin NCAA?

Yeah, its not that big a problem... just irritates me.

Yeah, its not that big a problem... just irritates me.Because he won the heisman. They can't put anyone in the NCAA on the cover.

You do realize that all the NCAA games over the years have had a player who has gone on to pro sports? NCAA rules prohibit using the image or likeness of a current NCAA athlete. ;)

I never really had a problem with this guy until all of the BS that he's pulled. Now, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he flamed out.

I'll be happy to draft Reggie in the 5th/6th this year, while all you fellas cross your fingers that he's a bust. When he piles up 60+ receptions and 1500 yds from scrimmage as my 4th RB, I'll be laughin all the way to the title.

What BS has he pulled? He showed up one day late to camp.

So basically, he hasn't done anything that every other NFL rookie hasn't done.
