Helluva good flick.

Best flick that's come out on DVD since probably Derailed.

I didn't get the every detail of the story (I like paying really close attention and listening to every word, etc.) so I'll be watching it again (and won't mind the repeat).

A must see & very entertaining.
4/5

Hey, me too.

That is a good movie. I was worried it would be more hokey.

It was actually well written and well done.

It even kept the wife wide eyed awake even though she has to get up @ 6am.
That's saying something for a comic book/action flick.

Nice, I wasnt too sure what to think but I found myself very into it too

No kidding about a comic book coming good on the big screen. That is usually not the case.

Sin City is the only other comic book flick that's a good one. It's comparable to V.

True. That is one I like too. They had the balls to stick with it and keep it more like a comic book. If viewers can accept that, its a bad ass flick

I'm actually curious to know what movies you find entertaining after reading that statement.

You havent liked the X-Men series?

The previews sold it as an action movie so the crowd I went with was disappointed in the lack of "Matrix-style fights". I really enjoyed it though, there were certain scenes that were just perfectly executed.

For some reason, can't get into watching 1 at all.
Never was a big fan of XMen and can't get into Wolverine.
That and I think Halle Berry playing in a comic book flick ruins it for me. She's cute and all but her acting is horrible (aside from Moster's Ball).

V for Vendetta is one I've been planning to check out. I saw a very positive review when it first came out.

As for derailed: I thought it was okay. I just ordered it from my Dish Network from the $1.99 last chance channel. It was worth that price, but I'm glad I didn't go see it in theaters.

While I agree that Halle Berry isn't the greatest actress, I thought she was pretty good in Gothika.

Begins had more of a plot to it and was lil more believable. Nice storyline also. Although I must admit... I haven't watched all of the batman movies. Hate the cheezy (summer jam super hero movies).

i agree about the storyline in batman begins ... but it's like they had a big storyline then the editor cut 50% of it out to get the length of the movie down.

it's just felt hollow ... rushed

hell ... the movie Rocky was all about storyline buildup

batman begins = storyline with no buildup :(

No buildup? The entire movie was buildup. Hell, we don't even see Batman until an hour into the flick.

Halle Berry was very good in Monster's Ball. One of my favorite films, btw.

Just watched this the other day. Awesume flick. A thinking mans actions film. Although there was very little action overall. I loved some of the subtle satire as well. Reminded me of Robocop satire.

I thought Sin City was good. I don't see how you could not like it.

'V' was better. Well written. Great story, which is most important.
I thought it would be to many cool action scenes and story line so-so.

Best Sci-Fi of the year no question.

V rocked.

But if you're talking great comic book movies, don't forget The Crow (the first one).

I'm usually way behind in the movies I've seen, but I did just see Fearless a couple days ago. It's got some pretty good fight scenes if you're into that kung fu stuff.

I'm already waiting on a good-sized order, including, ironically, V for Vendetta.

Perhaps next month.

Did anyone else get creeped out a little by V's mask?? It was just weird listening to him talk without the mouth moving.

Yeah. It was like the Burger King guy hit it big and finally got a role in a movie. Creepy. I liked V but I was disappointed to find out who was keeping the female lead imprisoned and I thought the ending was weak.
