I'm interested in hearing your opinion on the "Big 3" of Spring.

These 3 caused quite a bit of uproar around here back in May, so now that you have had a few months to let them sink in, which do you like better? Why?

Bob Dole is still listening to 10,000 Days. Everything else has been pretty much shelved.

(very limited hearing them)

I still put on Wolfmother about once per week, while stitting at the comp. IMO, it's pretty solid but not something I'd ever give a heavy rotation.

Haven't listened to the others.

10,000 Days is still the record of the year, the way I see it.
I like the other two, Wolfmother more, but I barely listen to them now.

10,000 Days has got a bit on the boring side, but only because there is not many songs, plus I have overplayed that thing to death.

I have really got into stadium arcadium myself, I mean, its hard to get into it because its 28 songs...but it's hard to get tired of it...because it's 28 songs.

This years new albums have been dissapointing.

Haven't heard of the first two at all (unless by 10,000 Days, you're talking about the Tool album, but I assumed you were listing band names). I've seen Wolfmother perform once, and I was seriously underwhelmed. I wouldn't pay money to see them.

10,000 days is the greatest album since...Lataralus

it will only be topped by...the next Tool album.

can't wait for the show in Sept.

This years new albums have been dissapointing.Oh, I disagree. This years have definately topped many of the recent years by far.

And yes, Nightwish, those are album names...the name of Wolfmothers album is...Wolfmother. It's self titled. Stadium Arcadium is the Chili Peppers double disc release.

Yeah, I agree. My most anticipated releases this year, Blind Guardian's "A Twist In The Myth" and Agalloch's "Ashes Against the Grain" were a little underwhelming. Both are really good records, but they aren't fantastic. Which was the expectation.

After the meltdown in May, I went and got 10,000 Days. I guess I've been over-exposed to Tool because I just couldn't stand it.

I still listen to Wolfmother about once a week.

I love the tool cd. I love the combinations of guitar drum parts. Tool had cool lyrics I love the red hot chilli peppers cd. Listening to flea beat the shit out of that bass is always fun. The muse knights of cydonia should get you dream theatre fans a listen. They came out with some kind of rock opera cd, it is deff different. The new killers cd comes out in october that cd should be fun.
