The Washington Redskins...hah

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy in Snyder...money can't buy everything...

The only thing better will be next year when they don't go to the playoffs again...

I love it...

Did you read on CNNSI that Snyder is asking the NFL for "debt relief"? Also, he's being reviewed for the way he bought out one of the minority owners.

This guy is a gem!

Living in 'Redskins' country, I thought I should tell you that the locals here think that Washington is the laughing stock of the league.

Without a doubt!

What the hell is "debt relief", sounds like a polite term for bankruptcy...maybe Snyder, Jerry Jones and Al Davis can get together and have a circle jerk...

I laught everytime I think about the Skins and their rich, spoiled brat of an owner... http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'm not sure, you would have to read the article... but, if I recall - he's in about $300M of debt with the team and is supposed to pay $50M sometime soon.

Maybe he should have charged $30 for fans to attend practices, jack parking fees up to $25 and more importantly... maybe he should have split the stadium into fourths (one for each quarter of the game) and sold the naming rights to 4 different companies at $100M each for 5 year terms. That way, each company could sponsor a 1/4 of the game.

I laughed all last season at the NY Rangers hockey team when they tried the same thing and failed to make the playoffs, this year I get to laugh at the Redskins.

It's good to laugh...at other peoples misfortunes...

I wish Snyder would sell the Redskins and buy the Raiders or Broncos.

Any one of us would probably spend the 100 million if it gauranteed a SB for the Chiefs...but nothing is guaranteed...that, as they say, is why they lace them up and play the game...

is that it's almost over.

I kinda like watching Dallas go downhill. They trade a 1st round pick for Galloway, and he blows out his knee week 1.

Wonder if that motivates Holmgren to get out of bed in the morning.

Yea I always enjoy watching 'South Americas' team lose.

It's almost time for post season

12-12-2000, 02:10 PM
which team do you want to lose too RaiderCorp?

A quote I just read from an article on Slate.

"The Washington Redskins' owner is a repugnant twerp. It would be unspeakably satisfying to watch the three field-goal kickers he's fired this season take turns sending him through the uprights."<BR>

after this years "agony of defeat"...next year...the "thrill of victory" will be that much sweeter.
