To save cash, you cut the cable off, but now you want to spend more money on something that will be worthless within a few years?

Im not sure how the item would be worthless in a few years... My TV does not have a HD tuner built in so i would need one anytime i would not have cable/SAT. no matter what year it is

Here is the one I bought. Refurbished. Not the greatest, but will work for what you want and pretty cheap too.

Oh yeah, this one will receive the "free local HD chanells" if you ever turn your cable back on too. FOX, CBS,NBC, ABC, PBS.

You'd only get what, 5 or 6 channels? For $150.00? No thanks.

gotcha..

but when you think about it...

I get those same 5 or 6 Channels anyway....

I pay the 150 one time instead of a monthly $60 payment to the cable company to watch them in HD

I also bought this one and have had no problems with it.

Presently I'm using an indoor HD antena, but will be going to an outdoor or attic one soon as ch 4 keeps breaking up on me (good thing the Chiefs are on 5).
