Injured defensive tackle Junior Siavii was practicing for the first time in camp and is scheduled to be brought back slowly, according to Head Coach Herm Edwards.“We don’t want to throw a guy into the fire,” said Edwards. “That’s not fair to the player.”

when did we sign that guy? The name sounds familiar but I can't remember seeing him in a game.

What's not fair is that hump of nothing collects a paycheck.
The least he could do is wear a mask whenever he picks it up.

Didn't he just retire from the Dolphins after 12 pro bowls? Great pickup for the Chiefs.

Siavii is lucky that Rashaun Woods became a bust as well.

To be fair, He didn't exactly take part in practice. Herm said he was doing some individule drills. What ever the hell that means. He's still not in pads yet. :cuss:

Shouldn't this thread title be "Siavii is on his back" ?

You cuss, like that's a bad thing... I'm drunk so I'm gonna talk smack...

A guy like this rubs off on other people, if he gets back into drills before you know it Hicks will start sucking and so will Dalton... Wait... :)

if junior gets healthy and miraculously experiences an profound attitude adjustment, he could be a force...

he has the size and athleticism to be as good as any we've got, if not better...

he just needs to hit the weight room, work on his techniques a whole lot, and grow up some...

physically, he has the tools...

and it sounds like herm hasn't given up on him, yet...

Amongst his "tools" are bad knees. Not bad from injuries, just genetically fooked. I will be very surprised if this guy ever lives up to the high second we used to draft him.

He might be back but that don't mean he doesn't still SUCK ASS.

I will give him one last chance this season and then I'm done. Pitch him with the rest of the crap we got hang'n around collecting a paycheck. :shake:

Siavii is like herpes. He keeps coming back and infecting the defense with his suckiness.

It is funny watching all those who now don't like him, where were you all when I was down on him from the start?

He'll be gone soon. I don't have to learn how to spell his name.

How did he get hurt in the first place....Trip over the end table with a box of Twinkies and a large pizza in his hands?

This guy has played so little I can't imagine he got hurt playing football.

uh....Yeah?

He's an unmotivated, fat lard with iffy skills and bad knees.

Instead of bringing him back slowly, he should find himself on a plane back to Somoa quickly.

I can't believe no one has stepped up and knocked this softball out of the park yet. It must still be early. :)

Maybe he just needs some encouraging words from us. Maybe our negativity has burdened him, stealing his strength and quickness amidst a shroud of gloom and despair. Maybe some support from the fans would be all he needs to get inspired and show us the power and burst that made him a high-round pick. Or maybe he just sucks. I don't know.

Walls, Thorpe, Huard are also back....and of much more significance to the team IMO.

Siavii will only be around as long as the team wants him taking some hits away from others that will play, IMO. I can't imagine him sticking this year.
