What the **** is the problem with the o-line when Printers comes into the game. It seems as if the o-line all comes off of the ball at a different time. It happened a shitload last week, and its happening now.

I have to say, it does not look good. I know it's preseason, but damn!!! The starting oline looked like shit. Constant pressure, and green getting hit. not good at all. losing roaf and richardson is realy going to hurt. The D line was getting no pressure, and the Giants first team moved the ball very well against the D. one play that stuck out to me was the reverse play the giants did in the first quarter. Trick plays work to well on the chiefs D. It happend that play for a good gain, and it worked last week with the bootleg and david carr. This defense is pathetic.

That's the problem, but they had to give time to Downing, Sims, Siavii, Freeman etc. to see who would pan out. It's just been a really unsuccessful drafting exercise. Richard Seymour or Kris Jenkins would make more difference to this team than anybody else, IMO.

Exactly... they have him on a leash because he couldn't make throws last week. This week it looks like they are giving him one read and that's all.

Not that he's getting any help from the line, but that isn't going to save his job. He's trying to unseat an incumbent. He needs to prove something, he can't just play and say, "well, I didn't suck that bad."

Coaching only goes so far, it requires talent to get it done. Where do you see talent on the Chiefs Dline, especially at DT? They looked like shit. They do not act like a team. They do not appear to care. Nobody. From the starters to the scrubs (who are supposed to supposedly be motivated.)

Listen, I'm smack dab in a city right now that hasn't won a pre season game in two years. But they use the preseason correctly. (damn, did I just compliment the Colts?)

They play hard, the coaches work towards the season, the team works on their *TEAMWORK*, and the scrubs play harder than anyone on the field to win a position.

RedandGold

I know it's preason and it doesn't matter, we're using vanilla schemes, blah blah blah, but here are legitimate concerns that I have:

1. With the exception of Waters, we are seeing our starting OL on the field, and opposing defenses are getting way too much pressure on the QB.

2. We are getting manhandled on defense at the line of scrimmage.

3. On special teams, we're blocking poorly and allowing big returns.

4. We're showing a serious lack of depth on both sides of the ball.

What bothers me is that scheme has nothing to do with these types of issues, and these are the types of things that carry into the regular season.
