I've noticed the occasional post where some one has "crossed out" text. Basically putting a line through the word.

How is this done?

that code doesn't appear to be supported. I wonder if it got removed when they did the latest changes.

You need to use < > instead of [ ].

Baconeater

Yep. That's how people embed the videos, etc. is with HTML code.

Does the <blink>blink</blink> tag still work?

Baconeater

http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/_BLINK.html

"BLINK was once reviled as the most obnoxious tag in HTML. Now it's mostly forgotten. MSIE does not even support BLINK anymore."

<BLINK> I guess if you're not using IE it may still work, is this text blinking for anybody? </BLINK>

It blinks in firefox. I was surprised. Guess they're just true to their roots.

You should really combine marquee with blink... and like h1.

<h1><marquee><blink>LIKE THIS!!!</blink></marquee></h1>

though, apparently, some of the effect will be lost on ie users now.

bunch of blinking, scrolling posts. That could get annoying. :) </MARQUEE>

jsp, I guess you should be glad you missed out on the WWW in 1996. It was an exciting... and dizzying time.

Great, thanks.

So is that html vs Vb?

HTML is what a web page is written in...

Try Firefox menu bar... View > Page Source (or Ctrl+U)

IE has similar.

but Strike is pretty cool <strike is cool> :p
