He's had all night in the pocket to look over the field and find receivers.

Seattle is playing every bit as vanilla as the Chiefs have so far.

Trying to keep up with the Raiders and 49er's as well, looks as though Brooks has another INT and Frank Gore is averaging a nice 6 yds per carry 7 for 42 so far.

Did I hear that the 9ers traded Kevin Barlow to the Jets today?

As for Brooks, my money says Andrew Walter is starting by about the 6th game this season, at the latest.

I haven't opened that thread.

I just caught the news at the end of the last game on NFL Network, but wasn't paying close attention, so wasn't sure I heard correctly.

I've been keeping a close eye on Gore for FF reasons and so far in first two games he's looked great.

I've been hearing that same speculation on ESPN Radio from Mortenson and Clayton all week.

I've been hearing that same speculation on ESPN Radio from Mortenson and Clayton all week.

It was basically started last weekend by the Dallas media. During the game one of the local sportscasters made an off-handed comment along the lines of "One more game like that from Romo and we have ourselves a full blown QB controversy"

Funny how this stuff gets blow way out of proportion. Im sure there is a micro of truth to the rumour, but i doubt Romo starts the season.

As much as I dislike Manning and the Colts, I think these should have been last year's SB teams right here

I agree.

And Seattle STILL would have lost, IMO........

Should have?

Manning did what Manning does.

He wilted under defensive pressure.

I still think had Carolina been 100% healthy no one would've stopped them.

If not for an idiot kicker! :cuss:

Did anyone else think Holmy carping about the officials was bush league? The calls were bad but Pittsburgh beat their butts. The game wasn't even close.
