not sure if its been posted already but. . .

News: Johnson, whose 1,750 yards rushing set a team record last year, carried nine times for 37 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams. He had a touchdown on a 2-yard run and spent the rest of the night on the bench in a baseball cap.

Analysis: In three preseason games, Johnson has 20 carries for 75 yards and coach Herm Edwards said that would be all he plays until the regular season opener on Sept. 10 against Cincinnati. There is no injury to worry about, Edwards has just seen enough of his back and wants to rest him to make sure a silly injury does not occur.

I think LJ was ready back in May. I would have been happy if he had gotten ZERO carries in the pre-season.

Well, he should be good and pissed against the Bengals since he won't get to play against the Saints.

Would anyone have believed when we traded Fujita to Dallas that that would be the move that would keep us out of the playoffs, and help Pittsburgh win their fifth title?

The power Scott Fujita welds is impressive, indeed.
