Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots LB Monty Beisel is in jeopardy of not making the final roster.

Good special teams player, nothing more though. I dont know if it's worth a final roster spot. Pretty much anyone can play special teams.

I think he blew Vermiel a few times........I await the Kstate fans to want to re-sign him. I still think that was a horrible draft pick.

He's a backstabber.

It's really too bad. It looked like he came on fairly well the 2nd part of last season, when he had Bruschi next to him to settle him down and help him make all the adjustments, etc.

This year, he never got off to a good start in TC, and at this point, he's playing with the scrubs. When he's not in the game, he's sitting on the end of hte bench, disengaged from it all.

I'd say Beisel has a very small chance of making the club. Bringing in Seau is a direct testament to Beisel's current status, and it's not good.

Very disappointing. Although I wasn't hoping for another Mike Vrabel, I was hoping that he could at least fill the shoes of a Roman Phifer -- an inside LB with good coverage skills who could fill a gap. Apparently not.

Or maybe he's just too distracted by what he has at home...

Damn ... Is that really Mrs. Beisel? Or is she just a pin cushion?

Either way the dude doesn't deserve that at all ! :shake:

Ayup. There was a recent thread on her on a Pats board, so it was easy for me to post her pics here. Apparently she's a former Miss Kansas. I remember chatter on here from a year or so ago talking about people who had sat near her during games and her hotness, etc.

More pics here, though not as scantily clad:

We will give you a Tinker Bell and a # 5 draft pick for Branch, OK. But YOU must keep Monty so the local Kitty Kat fans will not bore us about his very fine play.

Actually, I'd like to give Beisel the boot and hire his wife for the cheerleading squad.

They’re divorced, unless they’ve recently reconciled.

I always liked Beisel for his hustle. He never showed that he had great skills, but he always showed enthusiasm and hustle. I'm surprised he hasn't put it together this far into his career.

Yea, but I was kinda pull’n for the dude.
Amanda is from C-Town so I know’er, or more closely know of’er.
She married Monty when he was a hotshot at KSU, then left after she figured out he wasn’t gonna be an NFL star and make tons of $$$.
But if you guys really need another gold diggah on the cheer lead’n squad go for it. She’s certainly good for look’n at. ;)
