To each their own. i can only take about 15 minutes of it before I just have to turn it off. It was entertaining in the 80's when there was less back story going on and more wrestling. Now it is all about scripts and acting and less about wrestling in the ring.

Depends what wrestler you get, obviously there are guys who are really bad in the ring, but then there are your Chris Benoit's.

Yeah, I had to prohibit my kids from watching it because they were constantly trying to emulate the action in the ring and getting hurt.

It is still a sport, hell those guys serve over 120mphl, there is a lot of running and you actually have an oppenent that effects the game in some other way then some lame perceived pressure.

...unlike golf.

I'm a 200-210 bowler over the last 5 years, which is pretty good for a once a week bowler.

One of my goals this year is to break 200 on my average. I started mid-season last year after a 3-4 year layoff and started out with a 150s average while I was knocking the rust off. I was at 190 at the end of the season but the last 2 months I didn't have a series below 600 and had 2 series over 700.

I would also like to put together a 300. I was close several times last year but the pressure after about 8 frames of strikes gets to me. If I can get over the pressure, I think it could happen. That goal is going to be pretty tough to do though.

Zack should throw a FREE bowling party for the Planeteers.:thumb:

Yeah, I still need my 300, ripped off 2 288's in a row one night, 11th frame SOLID 10's. But did end up with an 802 that night and got my name in the paper. Pretty cool stuff.

End of last year I was bowling on a bad knee and was recovering from pnemonia so I finished pretty poorly with like a 201 average.

Just think of how much easier bowling would be without the 10 pin.

Aches and pains with me were part of the reason why my average was so low for a while. My left him had to get used to that sliding again. It took me about 2 months of bowling before that went away.

Worst place I ever bowled was the alley where we used to live. The owners got the place because her step dad passed away and left it to them. They had no idea what they were doing and the lanes showed it. They used to get upset at me for lofting my ball, they'd get even more upset when I responded with "put more oil on the lanes and I won't have to loft it." I averaged 190's in Missouri before moving there, droped to 160 for the 4 years I bowled there, now I'm back up to 190. Yeah, it must have just been me, not the house.

I'm not usually a watcher of tennis; it's one of those sports where I can take it or leave it. But I have always liked Andre Agassi, so I'm more interested than usual in this one, since he's retiring. I watched the whole 3.5 hours of that match with Andrei Pavel, and I gotta tell ya, it was a nailbiter, at least until that last set, when Pavel just didn't seem to have anything left. Helluva match for the first round, though! I felt kinda sorry for Pavel, though, because you don't normally hear players being booed at tennis matches. But the announcement of Agassi's retirement has really drawn the crowd to him, and they're going to be more hostile than usual toward his opponents. As bad as they gave it to Pavel, I suspect his later round opponents will get it even worse.

One thing I forgot to add in my original post, I thought the official review was kinda cool. They show a computer animation of where the ball landed with the computer saying "in" or "out". Everyone sees the outcome at the same time.

Anybody watching this? This is amazing. Agassi and Baghdatis have pushed it to the 5th set. Baghdatis is cramping up badly, can't recieve treatment because he's used a medical TO, and he's dying out there. They're tied 4-4 in the 5th, and they've gone from deuce-advantage and back for like 8-10 minutes.. Baghdatis can hardly walk. This is incredible.
