It was after the second game. We could do new ones after each preseason game until the season starts.

Hey that is my job-you can be my special sexy Deputy though??

Looks like a close vote-Being from Florida-should we worry about you counting the votes??

Seeing as how the 3rd game is supposed to be the "tune-up" game for the starters, I figure not much should change going into the regular season, so it's a good time to make predictions.

I went with 8-8. The loss of Roaf, Welbourn, Richardson and Saunders will take its toll. I anticipate Shields and Waters might miss some time and it will take a little while for the players to assimilate to the new scheme on defense. Plus, I chalk up 2 losses due to the Herm influence and clock management.

I'm sticking with 11-5

We lose at Denver, Arizona, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Miami. Go 8-0 at Arrowhead. I feel good with us winning at St. Louis, Cleveland, and Oakland.

I have lowered my prediction down to 9-7 after losing Roaf. It was up to 11-5 the week after we signed Ty Law.

I'm sticking with 10-6Also I think we'll be the odd team out once again, with some combination of Baltimore, Pittsburgh, or San Diego taking the Wild Card spots.

My prediction is no where as rational as Jim's, but 9-7 seems like all we get without the 2 best blockers (Roaf and T-Rich) opening holes for LJ. LJ will get the rock 30+ x a game and not with 5.1 ypc either. Big #77 and #49 will be sorely missed in the Hermyball offense.

Wow...thats pretty low expectation. Why did you pick that?

The loss of 2 OL, a defense that will probably be average at best, and it's an even numbered year.

Go to the nfl page-They have the Chiefs at 11-5 winning the division. Donks 11-5-wildcard. SD, Faders last.

I'm surprised...I was expecting alot of homerism in this thread. This place doesn't suffer fools. If you're an idiot, the hammer drops, even if that idiocy manifests itself in the form of homerism.

Most of us on this site can look at the team and realize there's no reason to expect much more or less than what we did last season, in regards to wins. Whatever gains we made on the defense this off-season are probably neutralized by the losses on offense.

For this team to go beyond last year's 10-6 mark, we'll need a few relative unknown's to step up on both sides of the ball. Not saying it's impossible, or even improbable. Just that we need to see more.

I'm predicting 11-5 and a 1 game improvement on last year's W total for a simple reason. games vs NFCW opponents instead of NFCE.

Looking at the schedule I guess they will be 9-7 at worst and 11-5 at best. I'll split the difference and say 10-6.

I'm predicting 16-0, just like I did in 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. In 1976 and 1977 I predicted a record of 15-1, because it just wasn't realistic to predict 16-0.

Also, in some of the earlier years, I actually predicted 14-0.

I'll be the asshole and go with under .500, specifically 7-9. I think our offense will really take a hit this year with the loss of Roaf and the total "Hermanization". In addition, I think the defense will continue to be god awful, mainly due to one of the worst D-lines in the NFL.
