His comments about a "fascist theocracy" caused quite a reaction from the others but I don't think Zappa would say anything differently today. It may have seemed premature at the time but it's looking more and more like he was right on the money with his belief that we were trending that way.

At the very least, the idea that America is becoming a fascist theocracy is no longer such an outrageous claim, IMO.
