That is what I just shelled out for an L.J authentic Jersey from Chiefs Pro Shop. Focking OUCH! MY bank account is hating me right now. Of course they were out of L.J authentics, so I had to customize an authentic jersey to the L.J jersey. Donations are being accepted through the savescorpfoundation. Please give all you can.

It would have to be the robe John Paul wore before I'd spend almost $300 for some fabric.

www.ebay.com

I looked at 5 million jerseys on there. None were even close to the real thing. Fonts were way off, Numbers werent even close. Finally said screw it, go ahead and get the $2000 a night call girl. After all, I deserve it! :)

You didn't get robbed if you're happy with your purchase. Don't listen to anyone else. If you had the dough, and you're gonna be happier than a 5 year old getting a puppy whenever it gets to your house, it's all good.

You could have bought a replithentic at fansedge for $95.

You got screwed. A primarily self-inflicted screwing, too. :D

Damn prices have gone up! Five years ago, I bought a Gonzalez authentic from Chiefs Pro Shop for $200 (including speedy ship).

Ace didn't have them in stock? - It might've been a teeny bit cheeper.

Scorp,

Why not just get it customized off this site?

http://www.onthefield.com/merchant.cfm?pid=819&step=4&from_catid=79

I have a DJ from those guys and it's perfect. They are actually the company that Reebok hires to do all their authentics.

You'll save about 40 bucks.

And for the EBay crowd, those jersey's are complete garbage. The lettering isn't close. Just because you take a blank replica and stitch on numbers, doesn't make it authentic.

I wouldn't pay 7.60 for that.

I bought a Replethentic LJ off Ebay for like 60 bucks. It's nice quality and everyone I've shown it to things it's an authentic (haha, little do they know :) )

Different strokes....

Those "authentics" on Ebay aren't real. That being said, they're a decent jersey for the price.

Personally, I only buy authentics. I have 4 right now that are basically worthless:

Holmes
Holmes, away
Donnie Edwards
Scott Fujita

I wanted to buy one for my dad for his 60th birthday. Pro Image had them for $250. I was crushed. And the fake ones just don't seem right after that.

Being a girl, they don't make the real ones that fit us...so I just buy fake ones from the Boys' departments and save like $30.

I saved a little bit more. :p That extra $200+ I saved will buy a lot of beer.

Dude, don't wig on this.
You figured you got a good value for what you paid. You know it is not a fake, and that carries something.

Bottom line is, it's yours. I have a Starter cap that I bought in 1994 just after we beat the Oilers, to advance to (and lose in) the AFC Championship game.
That thing is worn out, dirty, smells like a GI's skivvies, and is stretched out along the band so badly that it doesn't even sit on my bald-a$$ed head the right way.

But it's my favorite CHIEFS thing. Second place: an autographed "official" Reebok Trent Green jersey (with screened-on numbers!) that I got on eBay for $50.
SO WHAT!

Oh yeah: it came past my knees (and I'm 6'2") So I got on the sewing machine (Rosie Greer, beeotch!) and hemmed that bad boy up to about the sac. Lookin' FIT!

I am sorry. I just bought two authentic jerseys from reebok.com for 137.99 each. An away D. Johnson and a home L. Johnson. They had a 40% off sale that ended two weeks ago. I also picked up the new pullover from the Jerry Porter commercial and a t-shirt.

Reebok's online store sells authentics for 230 and usually every month they have a 40% weekend.
