Ok I recently picked up a used PS2 as it has been way too hot to work around the yard this year. I figured it would keep me busy for awhile.

Anyway, I would like to know about the online gaming aspect. I found a used network adapter for the PS2. Everything I have read is that this service is free. I am wandering how easy is this to set up and install. yes I have Cox High speed internet. Are there many games available?

I am not interseted in any Pro-xbox live chat in this tread either. :hmmm:

Some games are free. For PS2 online games, I have
Call Of Duty: Finest Hour
Call Of Duty: Big Red One
Twisted Metal: Black
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
Everquest: Frontiers

Out of these games, only Everquest is a pay game (about $10 a month last I knew).
Make sure that the network adaptor you get has the setup disc that comes with it. This is how you'll setup your online gaming via the network adaptor.

Thanks. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the back of my ps2 and I am connected. Guess I didnt need to go buy anything else anyway. Pretty simple on set up.

Thanks again.
