I am a little behind on this thing. I read GoChiefs and Ultra Peanut used it on sites with flash ads and stuff. I was wondering, I don't have a very fast processor however my 1 meg download rate is slowing to a crawl on alot of sites because of those stupid fuggin flash ads everywhere. Is ad blcok something I can use? I am not talking about pop ups, but the imbedded ads.
Thanks iun advance!

Furthermore, I don't understand all that apple/mac lingo, I didn't see a download option, etc?

You need Firefox. Then you hit install and bam, it's done. Though I recommend Adblock Plus and Filterset G updater. That updates to keep up with the new ads. It's nice.

privoxy may be good for you, it really kills all the crap that goes on behind the scenes, works with any browser
its a little complex though
