With Trent out for who knows how long, would it be to our advantage to find out what Brodie Croyle can do under real season conditions & save Huard as the "If Needed" QB?

I think if Trent's out for an extended period, yes. That is, if Huard really is the liability everyone says he is. I've personally never seen him play.

Somebody just made the point in another thread that this might not be the OL you want to put Croyle behind. Let Huard stand back there and take that ass beating.

Hell yes put Croyle in the game; we at least will find out what his potential is. With Huard we know what his potential is. Just watching him play makes feel like taking a shit.

If for some reason Trent is going to be out for a few weeks or the season, God forbid, then I'd put him in. That would mean of course that it's a rebuilding year though.
