I thought we had mercifully ended the Black at OT experiment.

i thought we did too.

Black played guard during the preseason

did he even take 1 snap at right tackle in a preseason game??????

then 2 days before the 1st regular season game we slide him outside to right tackle.

freakin' brilliant

maybe next week we can move larry johnson to fullback and have Cruz run the ball.

On the radio, they said that the practiced with Svitek over there and he got his ass handed to him all week. I'm probably paraphrasing, though. :D

if svitek sucked so bad in practice then why did he even make the team?

Because he's a good backup LT. He seems to suck it up pretty bad at RT.

Though it would be hard to be worse than Black.

No one could be as bad at RT as Jordan Black. Jesus, I'm beginning to think we should shift Shields to LT, Turley to RT, and have I-65 at guard.

Because he's a good backup LT - not RT.
LT is harder than RT

i find it very hard to believe that svitek is acceptable at left tackle but a compete bust at right tackle.

what he can't move right?

Dunno. I'm just repeating what they said in the pregame show.

Let's just give all our tackles Willie Roaf masks and little speakers in their facemasks that say "I'm gonna eat you in my gumbo" in Roaf's voice.

Yep that is what I was thinking. Shields has played left tackle a few times when we short on the O-Line.

There is no way Black should be a tackle and that was a horrible decision.

Of course DaFace will say otherwise even though he didn't realize that Black played guard all preseason which is his natural position.

Jordan Black is the William Bartee of the offense. His play simply defies explanation

Jordon Black spent more time flat on his back in this one game than my ex- wife did in 4 yrs of marriage, and she slept with everyone.

At this point, I'd be happy to have Welbourne back.

Take it how you will, but I heard Athan on the Big Jax show about six say it was because the Chiefs are trying to focus on Svitek at left tackle and not get him screwed up switching him back and forth. I.E. not mess with his footwork and technique, instead have him just focus on that one position, instead of what they did with Black last year.
