In LJ's defense, I think the playcalling was questionable. They went away from the run too early. The last 2 drives of the first half, LJ didn't touch the ball. :shake:

We all know it's hard enough to win in Denver. Now we have a journeyman QB leading our team for this game. It will be a lot tougher than normal. Although, there is always the fact that we can count on Jake Plummer throwing a couple INTs. :D

The only way I can possibly seeing us win is if A) LJ still somehow finds a way to be successful running the ball with nine guys in the box, B) Our defense has somehow found a way to defend the bootleg and stop the Broncos running game, and C) Plummer really has imploded, and he gives some timely turnovers.

Truthfully, I don't expect any of those three things to happen. I will be happy if our defense shows progress against Denver's offense, and whichever tackles we have starting at least look mediocre to average in pass blocking.

I discovered last week that I am working with a donkey fan, and well, it went straight to shit talk after that. Dude sounded like he had an IDEA about football, and then he dropped the old TJ bomb about Plummer being better than Green. When pushed about Plummer's performance, get this, the dude said Plummer was still learning the system. I about died laughing.

After Green got hurt on Sunday I went into a very black mood at work, everyone is telling me to calm down, and I more or less tell them to f#ck off. Said Denver fan is saying the same thing as well as arguing with me about the legality of teh hit, another guy says, "You know what, I hope Plummer gets knocked out of a game."
