Im too lazy to look this up. Does anyone know when the last time the Chiefs won in Denver was?

The last one I remember was when Montana was the starter in the MNF comeback. That was 1994 I believe.

I honestly cant remember any game since then that the Chiefs have won on the road in Denver. Has it actually been 12 seasons or am I missing a game?

One of Gun's few saving graces as HC was going undefeated against the Broncos, H&A.

So that was Gunther's last year as HC right, Grbac as the starting QB?

If so, thats pretty sad that with the offense that we have had since then, we still werent able to pull off a win in Denver.

We rarely ever win in KC...I think 5 times since the 80...and the reverse is also true

Good grief. Only won by one point.

Id forgotten how shabby that team was. Richardson starting at tailback, Grbac at the helm, with Derrick Alexander as the #1 WR.

Sheesh.

Tony G was huge in that game though. With Damon Huard in there not being as comfortable going through his progressions as Green is, maybe Gonzalez gets a lot of looks this week. If Huard can get the ball to Gonzalez enough to keep 8 out of the box and not have 4 guys on LJ as soon as he gets the ball, the Chiefs could have a chance.

Maybe, just maybe our boys can hold em off and pull out a win. Maybe Huard can hold onto the football and be effective enough to move the offense.

Yeah.....

And maybe Im a chinese jet pilot.

The @Denver week never gets any easier.

I think we won that game in 2000 because of Vanover's late punt return for a TD.

Or maybe I'm thinking of 1999.

You're thinking of the SandyEggo game from years earlier. Vanover wasn't even on the 00 roster.

Yep, here's the box score from the '99 game at the Pile...

We won in 94, 95 (the Marcus Allen TD/Snow Game) 99, and 2000. Those are the ones I can recall.

I remember winning in 1981 when Joe Delaney ran 81 yards for a TD at the end to put the game away 28-17.
