Sorry if it's a repost.

Everyone else does it too, so it's OK that Bush did it.

As long as there isn't some major NCAA penalty given.....I honestly could care less.

Honestly when this stuff first came up I hardly paid it any mind. The list is much more extensive and numerous than I first pictured though. There very well could be some serious consequences handed out. When they even mention forfeiture of games and taking away your Heisman it's usually fairly serious stuff.

IMO opinion their best hope is to plead that Bush had no idea that any of this was going on. Although when someone allegedly buys you a car, that does become exponentially harder to prove.

USC is in L.A. so their PR people are going to have a good idea of what to do better than when Missouri let their stuff get out of hand.

I just need 'em to pound the crap out of the Cornhumpers this week. After that, they can burn down the school for all I care.

The worst part is, it sounds like it had nothing to do with the university.

Marketers were trying to secure an early "in" to Bush's pro career, and when he went elsewhere they spilled the beans.

The school is probably going to suffer for the stupidity and greed of the Bush family and the slimy marketing guys.

Hopefully they get the death penalty SMU style...although I will gratefully accept a 2 year bowl ban, scholarship reduction and probation.

What they need to do is make it a Criminal Offense to give money to a Amatuer Athlete. That would stop 90% of the crap.....OU lost a Quarterback due to a local car dealer paying him for hours he did not work. Unless the staff new about it there is no way they could have done anything, why punish them?
