As most of you know the new rule for speeding up the college football games, do you like the new rule? Or do you hate it? Or no difference?

Discuss.

I dislike them. I want more football not less. If a game is going too long for you change the channel or leave.

Why are sport owners/execs trying to make the games go faster. I go to Busch Stadium pay $125.00 for four tickets I want an exciting 3 1/2 hour game. Same when I go to the Edward Jones dome, (which I hate).

Hate it. So do most coaches (especially Urban Meyer who spent a whole press conference complaining about it).

It's ridiculous that if a team needs a stop on defense after punting that they have to call a timeout to stop the clock after the punt, after 1st down, after 2nd down and then be out of T.O.'s to stop the clock after 3rd.

Terrible.

I hate to see the clock run after a kickoff return.

Back on topic, I suppose the idea of running fewer commercials during the games wasn't an option.

I was against it the moment I heard about it....However I'm not sure how much difference it is making...That game tonight was suppose to be over around 10:30 and at 10:30 they were still in the 3rd quarter and that is with a team like WVU that runs the ball every time.

Seems crazy that the rule got put in place considering nearly every coach in the country was against it.

Nice that they are f*cking with the actual product, rather than just cutting back on commercials. What a joke.
