Yup, Royals 1st granny of the season. (Reggie Sanders hit one earlier in the year against Oakland, but the game was rained out and stricken from the standings.)

Meanwhile, Witchita, in an elimination game against CC, hold a tentative 5-4 lead. This despite Lumsden giving up 4 ER in 0.2 innings. :(

Its a shame really. The Wranglers are better than the Hooks, but they're slumping at the worst time. Greinke, Hochevar, and now Lumsden have pitched terribly. Buckner was brilliant, and represents the Wranglers only winning pitcher this series so far. They need to win tonight to force a final game 5.
