Premiership
La Liga
Bundesliga
Serie A + Juventus
French Ligue 1
Mexican League

And that's it. Not even a "rest of the world" section.

The main (only?) selling point of FIFA over Winning Eleven is its vast number of leagues and promotion/relegation in career mode. Now? Not even that.

What on earth are they thinking? They don't even have the ****ing Eredivisie!

WE10 gameplay video:

The graphics aren't mindblowing when it comes to stills, but I'm sure the gameplay will be superb, as always. Too bad they're too enamored with their horseshit Master League to bother with a realistic season mode.

I'm going with WE10 & an option file. I just wish the wait wasn't so long.

However, there are rumors of a demo hitting the Xbox Live marketplace during TGS or X06.

However, there are rumors of a demo hitting the Xbox Live marketplace during TGS or X06.That will be torture. I cannot stand their whole "let's shit all over North Americans and release an unchanged game four months later" mindset.

It's honestly mindblowing to me that WE10 with an option file will have as many leagues and teams as FIFA, without increasing the numbers from the current gen version at all. What possible reason is there for anyone to buy FIFA at that point?

I still may pick it up if the gameplay has improved over "Road to the Cup" or whatever it was, which I heard it was improved in the 2nd game they release (can't remember the name). I still don't know why it's so hard to get all the teams in the 360 versions of these games. It's seems they are constantly axeing crap out of the 360 games and still sticking you with the 10 dollar increase over games for other systems.

EA knows that all they have to do is buy out a license..therefore they will continue to make shitty sports games. Next they will buy out the b ball license..then baseball, soccer, ect...

I got Winning 11 9 and although I am still feeling my way through the game, it rocks so far. Isn't compatible with my 360 though, only the old Xbox (which is OK for now). Gameplay is smooth and fun.

What a fantastic game. I finally got the feel for it and am playing Master League Mode. Great feature. I understand the respect for team logos but I was still disappointed that most of the teams true logos aren't represented. But that is just a minor thing.

WE9 is backwards compatible.

And yes, it's great. If you have a transfer kit or an XSATA, you can download option files that add all of the real logos and uniforms.

As for FIFA 07 on the 360... we may be getting somewhere.

Some Xbox 360 gamers felt a bit left out in the cold with EA on the few options of stadiums and leagues in FIFA 07. Well, the game developers have bumped up the list from seven leagues to 27, that's got to help uplift the Xbox 360 owners hurt feelings. Let's cross our fingers, click the heels of our ruby shoes, and hope they add more before the release date. Regarding releases, we got more info for the game straight from EA's mouth. . .

There's going to be a game demo available by October in the Marketplace so you can all try it out before buying the game. So until then, happy kicking!I watched the gameplay video on Xboxyde, and it looked pretty promising. I'm definitely looking forward to the demo now.

Or not. The above linked article seems to be a steaming load of steam.

On the bright side, the demo is out on the marketplace (~830 MB), and it's really, really fun. Six teams (Barca, Man U, Bremen, Chivas*, Milan, and Lyon), with a four-minute half. Even the loading screen's neat, as you run around and shoot with Ronaldinho.

Really worth the download if you have the time and space, and even though the skill stick is disabled, it still shows off some drastically improved gameplay. WC 2006 was a step in the right direction, and this is a full-fledged leap. And even without all of those other teams, it's still not much -- if any -- worse than WE's Master League, really.

EA's commitment to fully taking on Konami is apparent, and I expect only good things to come of it. FIFA 07 just moved to the top of my Gamefly queue, and I can't wait for it to come out.

Good news about WE10 for the 360.

No Bundesliga, not even a generic version, and the editor is apparently gimped to hell for some bizarre, EA-esque reason. **** you very much, Konami.

As for FIFA 07, this is honestly the best demo available on the marketplace, Lost Planet excepted. The more I play it, the more I like it.
