You still have time to get out, you know. You could take my advice, and not get married, and hook up with an old hag. It makes every day seem like a month or two!

anecdote of tonights post wedding festivities.

ahem...

The autumn wind was a pirate...a thief of hearts and virginity. Wedded bliss in the back yard, Judge Bufford T Justice officiating. Vows exchanged with most of the words spoken back in basically the correct order. The Wedded couple headed for the honeymoon suite, the Bride, in her canvas dress was whisked away by the groom, pulling her briskly in a freshly washed Radio Flyer red wagon.

The couple retired anxiously to the confines of the honeymoon suite at the hotel 6, complete with Hotub and free cable.

Like a hungry lumberjack, the groom firmly throws the new bride, trembling with nervousness of her impending cervical destruction to the well worn bedding as he might chop at an oak with strait beems.

Coitus Interuptus....

a confused groom reaches for the phone, dialing the numbers from the calling card provided for, in case of emergeyncy by his father.....

riiiiing riiiiiiiing "hello, this is Iowanian"
"uhh uhh..hi this is III....I'm having my wedding bliss, and I'm trying to follow your advice about the ATM......I've had her neked in a dog like position for 20 minutes....I've swiped the credit card down her butt crack at least 50 times, and I'm trying to push the brown number button for English or Espanish but its not giving me options for withdrawl or deposit"

A beaming bride & groom stand at the alter making their vows. The groom thinks to himself, "Now I can get it any time I want!"

The bride muses, "Now I never have to do it again!"

Iowanian
09-17-2006, 10:15 AM
Dawns early light, the sound of horns blairing at a stoplight nearby, a new groom awakens to the reality of what he's just done. He stretches in bed, accidently touching the twisted and matted hair of the pillaged bride, he reaches down scratching his sticky wedding tackle and without thinking, sticks a strange smelling finger into his mouth to scrape the fumunda tongue. They must need to wash the ATM because his finger tastes strangely similar to when he's been diggin in his crack.

As the disturbed bride rolls over, she lets loose the thunderous flatulance she was able to control while awake. The first sign of things to change.

"Woman, go make us some breakfast"
"uh, I can't even cook toast, you have any money for a mcMuffin?"
"Go ask my dad"

Poor miserable bastard you have no idea what you're in for.

Say goodbye to sex, a wasteline, hairline, fun, whiskey & beer, steak, football, your balls, your opinion, your self confidence, damn near every straight friend you had, golf, your baseball card collection, your porn collection, care-free apartment life, your truck with the bitchin sound system, your favorite pair of jeans (no way in hell she lets you wear them again), Saturday afternoon naps, Action Movies, your closet and last but certainly not least, Felatio.

Say hello to the vacuum cleaner, Pledge, Rosey Palm, insecurity, wine & champagne spritzers, salad, the ballet, Cunnilinges (not because you want to), shopping, agony, your mother-in-law, defeat, bitching, the female menstraul cycle, Antiquing, B&B's, nodding your head to the inane mumbling and squabbling coming from her mouth, honey-do's, a minivan, a house payment, Saturday afternoon housecleaning, Romantic Comedies, lay-a-way, Christmas shopping for some woman you don't even know and are fairly certain she doesn't even like and last but not least the crushing credit card debt that accompanies her wardrobe.

Best of luck, you kids will do great and to you on your honeymoon I dedicate this beautiful song by Billy Joel: "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant".

but unlike any young couple, they have their hands full trying to make ends meet.

You know actually looking back on our/my marriage (now going on 14 years)that was probably the most fun and exciting time, although we didn't relize it. We were married young as well 21 and 20. Scrounging for change in the couch to go buy dessert, or get a movie. A few extra dollars at the end of the week to go out and splurge at some diner. We made our own fun and enjoyed it until we had the means of doing things with money.

Now that we have been successful in careers and are raising 2 kids part of me misses that time of innocence and non-responiblity (at least not as much as now with business, kids, wife, house, car, etc., etc.) If you work at it together it is actually a wonderful experience and one that builds itself to and even better relationship with your spouse down the road.

You don't know the half of it. If you had a smidgeon of background, you'd want to write a sitcom.
