I concur with the above poster.

Maybe we will. But that's a guess. At this point, we look better IN Denver than we ever looked VERSUS Denver in Vermeil's 5 years.

I feel like I'm back in 1993.
I'm gonna put on my Zubas pants, and my JJ Birden or my Fred Jones jersey.

Throw to Robb Thomas, DeBerg!!!!!!

(It's actually kinda fun to watch.)

I'd like to 2nd that "you're an idiot"

Isn't it more improtant to win the game rather than to look good? Apparently not for everybody.

The play of the game so far is the punt by Colquitt inside the Denver 1 yard line. That was a thing of beauty. I love how the whole team is playing together for once. Lets hope they keep it up.

Chiefs are looking as good as they can considering no Green and our still suspect tackles. This game will go down to the end but hey, KC could win this thing!

What exactly looks "poised" and "controlled" as opposed to anything we've seen in the Vermeil years?

I'm missing it, fill me in.

Read your ****ing post again you chromosone missing primate:

"we never looked this poised and controlled in Vermiels's 5 years"

Provide some details if you don't want people to ask questions. Are you referring to the passing game? Defense? Overall? Gunther hiding his chew spit?

Running game? Special teams?

Don't play dumb.

Except for a couple of plays, the D has maintained their gap responsibilities, and the DEs have maintained utside containment.

Even Wesley maintained his responsibility as the deep cover, and reacted well to Plummer on his interception.

Keep kicking field goals !

We might beat a bad team that way.

You got to love Martyball ! No serious attempts in the redzone.

Actually I'm kinda wondering where this poise was at as well. Was it because we finally have a half decent defense after wasting one of the best offenses the NFL has ever seen or was it we only lost by three becasue Denver looks like total crap too?

Fill us in

Well what did you expect genius? We're playing our backup QB.

Yes he played well but there wasn't anything really called down field because either he's not good enough or the coaches believe he'd make a mistake.

I've got news for you. If you're expecting something grand this year. You can might as well forget it. Our whole season changed when Trent got knocked out.

It was our best showing in years up there.

Dissapointing we didn't win but I'm not mad or surprised.

I'll take Herm as our DC and keep DV and AS as our HC and OC.

We've been here before in the 90's! No thanks! 6 freakin points! The D is very good too bad DV/AS isn't here to take advantage of it.

0-2, headed for 8-8 if we are lucky. Not looking forward to next year!

Thinking about not renewing my NFL Ticket next year. I'll just read about it Monday morning in the newspaper.

Poised or not, KC is still 0-2 and is basically out of the division/playoff hunt already.

Those poised Chiefs everyone is talking about had to look to the sidelines near the half to get a timeout called and it perhaps cost them a touchdown.

Not by a long shot. I think everyone would have been thrilled to be 1-1 facing Cincinnati at full strength and Denver at home. 0-2 was not totally unexpected. The test will be games 3 and 4. If we can be at .500 going to Pittsburgh we will be in the hunt. The pressure was on Denver, they are supposed to beat us at home and if they'd started 0-2 it would have been news. BTW, they didn't look real sharp today.
