We don't hav the line to block long enough to set up these timing routes of the Al Saunder's O. We have to look more too qucik dunks, hitting the backs (which we did a lot of today) and more .5 & .10 type offense.

If we go back to check downs to the back it will start opening up TG and we can have a good 5 step drop offense.

I guess Herm can always make a call to his good friend Paul Hackett.

I'm a big fan of anything that gets LJ the ball in space. (Shovel pass, etc.) Once he gets into the secondary, it's hardly even fair to the defense.

I'm also starting to worry that someone will jump one of those quick slants and take it the other way for a TD.

I liked the offense except for a couple of questionable calls at timely points in the game

Ummmmm....Paul Hackett took us to an AFC Championship game.

That is closer than any other OC has since I have been alive.

Sorry, that was Joe Montana and Marcus Allen that did that.

Nope they didn't want Huard throwing down there. Notice Bailey was on TG all day long pretty much?

Yep in Hackett's system. Who called the plays?

Sorry if you don't liek it but that is the fact.

With the exception of that year, Hackett was crap for us. I don't want him back. I think most of this board feels the same.

We may be in luck, I think the Bucs would gladly give him to us.
