OK maybe one day I'll have a legit thread on Da Planet, but until then . . .
What is the one moment that you will consider
1. Your fondest memory of the 2000 season
2. Your least fond memory of the 2000 season

fondest
October 22nd Stomping the Super Bowl Champs at that time I was thinkin' "We finally found our 'A' game" and "How could this team not go to the playoffs?"
Honorable Mention: discovering chiefsplanet.com
least fond
November 5th Being swept by the Raiders I knew it made for a lousy scenario. I couldn't stand to see Gannon and Rison taking part in our demise. I was convinced Oakland had the superior team an they will frustrate us for a few more seasons.
Honorable mention: being the 1 in the Chargers Win column

Best:
Being at Arrowhead watching the Chiefs stomp the crap out of Denver. Being able to vent my hatred at those vile, rotten f#cks in person. Being close enough to their sideline to feel their shame. Best football experience EVER.
Worst:
My gut feeling after the San Francisco game that we were screwed - prior to that we had lost only to good teams and generally played well. That wretched performance against the doormat 49ers was the beginning of the end.

Best:
Watching Elvis Grbac pass for 500 yards against the hated Raiders in Oakland.
Worst:
Losing to the hated Oakland Raiders in Oakland as Elvis Grbac passed for 500 yards.

Best: 54-34. If only the season had ended the next day...
Worst: Being the "1" in "1-15."

Best: Beating the mighty Donkeys in Pile High.
Worst: Watching Chucky Gruden run across the field twice with that stupid smirk/grin.

Best - Cloud leaping over the goal-line to put Chiefs up 20-0 over Rams. We were clicking on O, D, and STs for one glorious half.
Worst - tie, the offsides that gave NE the 20-10 lead at half by putting them in FG range w/o time, the hold against Atl that changed a blocked punt for us into an eventual TD for them.

Best: Watching Gunter Cunningham get fired within 45 days.
Worst: Elvis wussing out against the Chargers

Best: Watching TRich bust Denver at Arrowhead for 156 yds.
Worst: Enduring Dienberg's crap after a Chiefs win or loss. God, when will the madness end?

Best: The first San Diego game - I didn't see a single play of it because my son was born during the game ;)
Best Runner Up: Crushing the Rams, at that moment I starting looking at the rest of the schedule and really believed we could take the West back from the Raiders.
Worst: Losing to Atlanta - I just didn't care anymore only turned the game on occasionally to see what was up. It's been years since that happened.
Worst Runner Up: Getting swept by the Raiders. It looks like they're doing their best to make up for the 90's.
Best: Still 4 days left in 2000, I'm still holding out hope my #1 wish comes true. ;)
NextBest: Tie between trouncing the Lambs and sweeping the donks.
Worst: DT58RIP!! :(
NextWorst: Another tie between being the 1 in 1-15, and the final play on MNF vs the Patriots.

Best: the one game I attend, KC plays like a real football team: KC 20 - Denver 7
Worst: hearing satan's contract was extended a day later (i.e., finally realizing Lamar does not care about winning... and his son is too much of a pus(s)y to do anything about it).

Postal,
I have said it before and I will say it again:
You have a serious problem.
The lowlight of the Chiefs season for you is dealing with me?? Are you kidding me?? What about New England, Atlanta, San Diego, and San Francisco????

Best: Alexander's GW catch at Denver.(sssssshhhh!).
Worst: Losing opening day after the Derrick Thomas tribute.
BEST:
Sweeping the Broncos. Even better than the butt-kicking we laid on the Rams.
W0RST:
Schottenheimer’s soft zone Defense [Titans, Raiders, Raiders, etc.].
xoxo~
gaz
an old die-hard Defense Homer, disgusted by what has happened to his D.<BR>
BEST:
CRUSHING the Rams!!!! ( basicly srewing there season from then on, bye bye Kurt)
WORST:
Losing DT, and watching HIS team unable to give him fitting tribute, or at least a winning record.

Best - Finally getting direct T.V. at a local bar so I could watch the 7 wins.
Worst - Finally getting direct T.V. at a local bar so I could watch the 9 losses.
