What are the odds Allen is inactive tomorrow? John Abraham got a DUI a few years ago and Herm deactivated him for the next game.

No chance. I hope.

Eh. I doubt it. We win with or without Allen, though.

Great question, Mr. Mecca.

Unlikely, in my opinion. If he did, the fan and media reaction would force Herm to have to dip into his newton stash for sure.

Well if he's not above deactivating John Abraham why would he be above doing it to Allen? That's why I pointed out that he's done it before.

That's a legit question and honestly I have no idea.

We're so desperate for a win, Mr. Mecca, that it would be utter insanity to bench Allen.

Hmmm. Utter insanity. Herm.

Let me get back to you on this.

If it happens, it happens. I've not read anything that suggests Allen has any chance of being deactivated. Right now, all rotoworld.com is saying his status for week 4 is unknown.

I'm almost expecting him not to be playing tomorrow. It's Herms nature to do something like that.

I am going to tell you what Herm will say before he says it..He said this when Damien Robinson brought a loaded ak-47 assault rifle to a home game..and after Abraham got the dui.

''Before he was a football player he was a man''

WTF does that mean???

Seems like he wasn't suspended until he pleaded guilty...

Also, it seems as if Abraham's DUI was a little more serious, not sure if that matters...

It's that bullshit about how being a good man is more important than football. So they didn't play to "teach them a lesson about being a good man". Alteast that's my guess.

Interesting. If he benched Abraham I surely don't think that he would put Allen above this. Now, besides having a DUI in the first place were the circumstance the same? Did Abraham do something other than just drinking and driving?

Brutal.

After reading the article I guess he also hit something and had passengers. So I guess they are different in nature.

He's playing. I saw it on the local sports at 5. Chiefs PR man said they are going to let the legal system take its course, and Allen will start tomorrow.
