My dad's not gonna be happy.

Good thing I talked to him last night, don't have to hear about it today.

Go Royals!

Did you guys see that little kid crying when the Royals scored their second run? :fire:

The only shitty thing about this is that I HATE Minnesota. :# I'd rather see Detroit take the division between the two of them. Oh well.

Struck him out... 1 out to go!

10-01-2006, 03:43 PM
Shut it down. See you next season... :)

Congrats Minny. You'll still lose.

How many times will somebody mention all Detroit had to do this weekend was beat the only team to lose 100 games this season once in their own ballpark.

Sorry, Detroit for letting the Royals sweep you in Det. you deserve the Yanks.

Congrats to the Royals in showing some backbone and not allowing the Detroit Tigers to win the division at home against them. Not only that, but coming back from more than 4 run deficits 2 times in the week-end.

Somebody needs to put the Tiger fans on TO watch, lead the division the entire freaking season, then blow it on the very last day. Brutal.

The one thing you can give the Royals credit for is they never quit. They played hard right to the end, down to the very last weekend.

Did we just lose the first pick in the draft?!?

We have the same number of wins as Tampa Bay, but it looks like they have one more loss.

Why waste the effort putting Tiggers fans on suicide watch? I know I'd rather them die.

You should see the Cardinal fans.

Difference is, I pray at night for Cards fans to die.

It would have been real funny if there wasn't a wild card & the Royals win totally knocked Detroit out of the playoffs after they've lead the division all year long!

10-01-2006, 05:09 PM
Way to go Royals on the sweep hahaha! Can't wiat for next year!

10-01-2006, 05:43 PM
Just saw the highlights.

Matt Stairs tried to save their Home field advantage, but the Tigers just refused to win.

Beaten by Jimmy Gobble in extra innings. LMAO

gotta feel good about stairs. and that win. makes the offseason workouts better.

man, we lost the first pick in the draft. That sucks. That catcher our of Georgia Tech is gonna be an animal.

Too bad they lost 7 in a row or they would have avoided 100 losses.

62-100. Could have been 42-120, very easily. Im pleased, it looks like KC has a lot of upside, and momentum going into next year!
