I just read an article on NFLScoop.com about Al Davis being one of the only people to offer support to Dan Turk while he was sick. Does news like this change anyones opinion of him?

No way - I still think he's a cool guy!

Al Davis is like a mobster. He is cool to members of the "Raider family" of which the Turks were a part of. But if you ain't a part of the family, watch out...

What do you mean "like a mobster", he is part of the family in the bay area.

Look at the goons he hangs with.

Al Davis is a crook. If you are a member of the Raider family he may treat you with respect but if you are not look out . There has also been office and player personel who complained how they were treated when they left or were fired. Look how he treated Marcus Allen. Ask Shanahan about the money Davis him on the contract when he was the coach of the Raiders. Ask the city of Irwindale about the money Davis took on his lies to the city about moving there.

You mean-like a mobster, like, strange hair and a trench coat, bats eyes a lot and lies to you even if he knows you know he's lying? Hmm, sounds like Carl Petersons twin. <P>
