Black was extremely solid today...Huard had very good protection. I daresay Black played better today than Turley did in weeks 1 and 2.

Tynes is the best kicker in the league. He effortlessly nailed that 49-yarder and his kickoffs were consistently great, proving that Frank Gansz, Jr was a dumbass.

I think Kasey is the best kicker in the league. Tynes is top 5 though.

I thought this was in reference to the pooch punt Tynes hit and Black downed at the 1.

That was great, too. Tynes is going to put Colquitt out of a job!

Helps when the coaches call different formations on the line to ease the burden on Black too. Not dissing him (cuz he did play much better), but Dunn and Gonzo helped him look solid.

I was kinda impressed by Black today. He did a very solid job in pass protection. However, I did notice a few run plays in which he let the defender past him to stop LJ before he got going. Overall, he did alright. The I-65 tag can be removed......for this week anyway.

I'm still trying to figure out how Blackie got down to the one yard line before anyone else? Searching for redemption?

I will actually eat crow on this one as well. He played well today. Sure he got help but when they keep stuffing 8 in the box the TE is gonna stay home more.

I won't totally pull the I-65 at this point but I will say that there was some major construction going on today.

I-65 is such a hilarious nickname. Whoever came up with that one, deserves a trophy or something.

is playing the right side his kryptonite?

mm, ponder

Or do the 49ers give him less than pathetic tackle playmaking ability...
