Parker's got 9 catches in 3 games for 70 yards.

Dante Hall's got 7 catches in 3 games for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Plus, he adds a special teams dimension that generates yardage and possibly points, like today. And Parker's performance was presumably garnered over a good deal more snaps, being the #2 receiver and all.

After today I don't think we can use the QB situation as Parker's excuse. Huard's not incapable of getting the ball to a receiver and played a good, high percentage game two weeks in a row. He got the ball to Eddie Kennison 6 times and to Gonzalez 5 times.

So, any who saw something I didn't or were at the game today, what is his excuse? Is he not getting open?

As mediocre as Gardner has been through his NFL career, I think it's time he starts getting some snaps as the #2. He doesn't have elite speed but he does have size and surely has as good of hands as Parker does.

Thoughts?

Parker is the most overrated Chiefs WR since Slymo.
He's horrible. Always been horrible. & Always will be horrible.

Outside of speed, he hurts this team more than helps us. I'd rather see either Gardner or the other Webb guy have the #2 spot.

At least we'll have someone lining up who can catch the freaking ball.

Why must Parker act like he just won the Superbowl after he catches a 10 yard pass......

I dunno if they mentioned this on tv but later in the 2nd half when huard hit kennison for a first down, parker was wide open for an easy td but huard didn't see him

Parker actually has 9 catches for 70 yards. He's caught everything thrown to him the last two games. I don't know why they won't throw to him downfield.

It'll come. At least he's holding onto the ball.

...and we all know GoatCheeze is the resident expert on ball-holding.

41-0 shutout, blowout, complete domination and yet people still want to find something to complain about.

Well Trent was pimping him, but Huard has been in for most of the year so that may have something to do with it since Parker probably is never the 1st or 2nd read

If we can keep winning i dont give a shit if TOny G has 1 catch for 3 yards every game.

Yeah, it's annoying.

Yep, I was pretty much assuming that Eddie and Tony were the 1st and 2nd read. Too bad our 3rd read is isn't getting thrown to like a 1st read!

That's hilarious...I've thought the exact opposite. I keep thinking Parker is looking good this year, he's caught every ball thrown to him and he's come up with some touch catches, no joke. His biggest problem is his fumbling...and so what if he gets excited, I like emotion. He is a solid #2 WR IMO.

Don't get me wrong, we opened up our offense today..but Huard still looks Tony G first, LJ second and then if those fail Kennison third. It's not like he really spread the ball out today, he was just very very efficient and had easy reads because the 49ers were so focused on the Chiefs running game.

Parker has made some nice catches. Screw Gardner he has never done anything.

he had 1,000 yards one season and had 4 very solid season to start his career.

Why don't you post some more 'Trent Green is going to retire a season ticket holder told me so' bullshit!

Actually, Gardner did force that fumble on the opening kickoff in the 3rd quarter.

I'm not meaning it to be a hate thread, I'm not just looking for something to complain about (maybe the first time I have been accused of being in the hater camp...) I hope Parker turns into Jerry Rice just like you all do.

I just wondered if maybe Gardner could offer what we need in a #2, and Parker could just keep being Parker and getting the deep ball.

Can anybody tell me how Rod Gardner sucks? He had over 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns on year. What happened to this guy. It is an enigma..he has all the tools to succeed and fails miserably.

Can we at least consolidate these threads. This is as bad as the Ty Law threads.

Yeah, I am exaggerating.
