He had a good game, right? I never heard his name / number called. It sure is a good thing that we're keeping Fox off of the field. He stinks.

And the key word there is "fall"

When is Fox going to take the starting job? Do you think Herm will announce that Fox will become the starter or Fox will take the starting job after a K. Bell "injury" or will Fox's playing time continue to increase while Bell's playing time decreases until Fox is permanently installed as the starter?

Fox had at least 3 special teams tackles. Herm is playing Bell to keep Fox fresh for special teams.

I did see Bell break up a pass play. I am sure of it, because I remember being shocked.

Bell isn't spectacular but he's playing his responsibilities. In case you didn't notice, San Fransisco wasn't very effective on offense. There were 11 Chiefs players who were on the field at any one time who can take credit for that shutout.

Frankly I'm a little surprised ANYBODY would whine about any defensive player today - of all days.

The Bell haters will bitch until Fox gets his chance to start.
Maybe against a better team. Pittsburg, Seattle? with a different kinda
Offense.

I was surprised in mid 4th Q not seeing more backups (Boomer,Fox,Scanlon) unless they were trying to preserve shutout.

He chased Smith out of bounds on one play.
