Also of note, LJ is 10th in the NFL in yards per carry during the 4th quarter with 5.4 but only one guy ahead of him -- Jerious Norwood -- has a similar amount of carries (18 to Johnson's 19).

LJ's second in the NFL in yards per carry from his 21st carry onward with 5.5, second only to Steven Jackson with an outstanding 7.0, though that number is slightly skewed by the fact he has only 10 carries in this area while Johnson has 17.

It means Johnson is gonna have one of those 200 yard rushing days next week against Arizona!

Among other things, 17 totes in week one was a terrible, terrible mistake.

Could it mean that the interior of our line is somewhat better than the outside edges?

What's the "holy crap" part of all this?

It means our tackles suck and can't run block, and he is only running productively in between the tackles. Solari knows this and is calling the majority of the runs to go in the middle.

Yours is a completely different table, you doof! I don't know where they each came from, but they're different and I wanted to compare them.

The main problem I saw, was the Tackles were too slow to hit the blocks on the outside. While LJ was being patient looking for the gap, San Fran brought the safties up and clogged all lanes. The middle will be our bread and butter the rest of the year.

What does it all mean?

FAXI think it means that the strength of our oline is in the interior.

LJ is good. Cruz popped a couple of good carries out of the fullback position yesterday too. lol

Right- good analysis. That is why we had more than a few single coverage receptions. San Fran's game plan was to make Huard beat them. Give him credit- he did.

Despite a bad first week he's still on pace for almost 400 carries and almost 1600 yards.

LJ was shut down yesterday for the most part.
