Motorhead are eternally awesome, but 98.9 booking them was stupid. The Rock plays exactly ZERO % Motorhead. I've never heard a single Motorhead song played on that station.

I got my ticket. Really a stellar lineup leading up to Motorhead, which will be cool, but why are they having it at the T-Bone's Ball Park? Don't they realize what kind of crowd Motorhead is going to attract? I mean, if it was a crowd of people just like me things would be alright but some people may get rowdy, unless ole' Lemmy gets things calmed down.

Never cared for wartfaced Lemmy and Motorhead-he is a horrible singer. I think I will pass on this one. I won't be listening to the Rock until the concert is over-they pimp it after every song.

Man, how old is Lemmy by now? Dude has gotta be 60 at least...

EDIT*- just did a Wikipedia on him- he's 61. :)

Lemmy was born in 1945, so he is 61, I looked that up myself because I knew he had to be up there, and he is. Motorhead is one of those bands that some may not like and some absolutely love and those like me who never was into them but think they are cool anyway, and would like to see them play. I had to buy a couple of their CD's to woodshed, but I think I should have a good time.

I'll never forget last year when they had technical difficulties, yet Slipknot came out and kicked ass for an hour in the rain.

That is for sure-not even close singing or Bass playing.

Pardon me all Rush fans, but I always thought Geddy Lee's voice was not so good. Granted, Lemmy's voice is not exactly worth writing home about, but some of Rush's songs like for instance "Closer to the Heart" that his voice is almost agonizing. I think I would rather hear Lemmy's gutteral delivery as opposed to Geddy Lee's high-pitched nasaleum.

He's not nearly the girly-man that Geddina is either..
