Week one laughes in the face of the "stout" home Cardinals defense.

Matt Leinart* said he was basically already an NFL QB and a rockstar at USC.

The thing that makes me the most nervous is OT....Turley out, Svitek Q-O with a knee today(not much time to heal).....leaving Black and Sampson...with Bober as the 3rd. 1 play from being in Deep shit on the Oline.

Sapp being out 4-6 weeks, facing AZ's very talented and Deep WR corps.....doesn't give the secondary any room for dings.

*edit for Duh moment.

AZ will have trouble on O playing 4 Quarters.

They don't have the AZ heat in their favor anymore....

This is the most confident I've been that we will win so far this year. Leinart will find it's a bit harder to be a good QB when the guys in front of you probably would have been backups at USC. Tamba will have at least two sacks and one int for Surtain, Law, and Wesley. LJ rumbles ammuck with 174 yards and three TD's. Huard is effective but not perfect like last week, only 1 TD for him. Chiefs win 28-10

So the DUI convection has occurred already? Court must work very fast...

I'd take the under on this game. Bertrand Berry could give our tackles a lot of probs. Allen and Hali should frustrate Leinart. Expect some blitzes from Gun, but not a lot, because Fitz and Boldin can both house it against man coverage. We should probably play a strong nickel most of the game, given AZ's inability to run the ball.

Chiefs D is overrated(devils advocate)
1) played Bengals in the rain
2) Plummer on a short leash
3) a QBs first trip to Arrowhead

I'll play devil's advocate:

The Chiefs game wouldn't have swung so heavily in their favor if Frank Gore hadn't fumbled so early, giving the Chiefs great field position. Once they were down by 10, they had to abandon the balanced attack. The Chiefs capitalized on this. Edgerrin won't fumble and the Chiefs won't be able to cruise to victory.
Plus, the corners are old and will get burned by deep tosses to Fitzgerald and Boldin.

Edgerrin won't run, either. 3.1 YPC. Are you kidding me? We are going to FEAST.

The only questions is if our offense shows up.
