What's the latest on Westbrook?

I can't find anything right now, I guess I'll have to bench him. He left me with my pants down last week.

Anyone just catch that special about the Philly fans on Countdown? I like some spice from a fanbase, but they just come off as illiterate and violent neanderthals. For f*ck's sake, they used to have a courtroom in the bowels of the old vet just to process all the drunks and fights through there.

Great, now I need to pick up Harrington in FF, because Miami might be able to move the ball some now.

10-08-2006, 12:16 PM
I should have picked the Giants, I have a feeling that this isn't going to be a good game for the Skins.

And Saunders, wtf was that option play call?

And Charles Woodson is hurt, thats a shocker.

I figured they would rout Gradawhatervski....hopefully this means he'll steal all the rookie QB mojo and Leinart will suck

There's something about Jeremy Shockey that makes you hate him on sight. I'm fascinated by that. What is it? It's some kind of superior, smirking, smugness that immediately causes a negative reaction.

And by the way, he just got called for a penalty that pulled a Giants touchdown off the board.

Yeah, you can tell that even God hates him.

Even so, he gets announcer love. I don't know who the announcer is, but he just said, "You've got to love Shockey's aggressiveness. He's like a linebacker out there." This is after Shockey's offensive pass interference penalty (when he wasn't the receiver) pulled a Giants TD off the board.

Titan get a wacky fumble recovery....Manning is crying and doing his Gannon impersonation....

the review both will see Manning's tears and reverse the call, I'm sure...whose heart does not soften at the sight of a Manning in tears, I ask?

I disagree with the announcers in that I don't think Shockey affected the play materially, but at the same time he put his arms out to shove that defender and knock him off Burress, so I've got no issue with the call.

Defense makes stops and get turnovers.
Grossman is healthy and making good decisions.
And they have a solid, if unspectacular, running game.

And the Bears D is, well, pretty damn good.
