He showed his explosion on the sack... why is he invisible for the rest of the game?

Any chance Gun will be able to get him more involved?

(Funny how it's all good to rip this guy.)

Bell is getting better in the system. He is not a pass coverage LB and that hurts him in a 4-3

He's got soemething wrong with his lower body/groin and can't move laterally. Either Fox will have to step up or they're gonna have to bring in a new ROLB but Bell is not the answer. He'll end up back in a 3-4 somewhere playing inside and blowing up the fullback.

He's consistently out of position, doesn't that count ANYTHING?!?!?

He only got the sack because of a rookie mistake (Leinart had plenty of time to throw it out of bounds). I'm ready for Key Fox to take over, personally.

I don't know why you started that thread about Surtain. This one I understand. If there's anyone we overpaid for, it was Bell. We got him to restructure his contract, which was a good move, but he's got to be the big free agent disappointment, not Surtain.

1 tackle, and invisible the rest of the game. Sounds like every game he plays. Let's move on with Fox, now!

I was sure he was going to miss that sack

No shit.... I jumped up just waiting for Leinart to squirm out of that and run for a 1st down. It took me minute to comprehend that Bell had actually brought him down....

About the time he starts playing hard, he is going to blow up his shoulder again. As someone with 2 bad shoulders, I can undertand why he's not the same old player he used to me. It's just hard to have confidence in your shoulders once they have been worked on, and recovery is a bitch. I still wear my harness any time I'm doing something stupid (ie. wakeboarding)

That's like saying Leinart only threw the 49-yard TD pass because Lenny Walls made a mistake.

Fox needs to start, he is ten times better.
