Apparently the appendix is a crucial organ for quarterback performance

The most important thing is that they're finding a way to win games.... Wait, what's that?

Look at it this way. He's likely to figure things out again before the end of the season. It's better to catch him now than in six weeks.

Counteracting that is the fact that the Steelers are going to be desperate for a win and I don't see our pop gun offense having much success against their smothering D.

The thing that bothers me the most is, when was the last time a defending super bowl champion started the next season 1-4? Ever?
I think we're gonna have our hands full this weekend.

If I were Herm, I would take this opportunity to remind our players that the Steelers took OUR playoff spot all the way to the Super Bowl.

Nobody wants to say it, but...

Smashing his face on a windshield might actually be a bad thing for quarterbacks to do.

Windshieldburger is more like it.

'99 Broncos. Worst defending SB champs ever.

That smothering Defense is ranked #13, thats middle of the pack.
They are not the same team that won the SB last year.

Cowher has lost his second level burst.

as important as their mediocre defensive yardage rankings are the fact that they're giving up almost 20 points per game.

The Steelers 'D' always seems to start strong but once you weather the initial storm they become rather pedestrian. Someone who cares more than I do should research their stats (especially first-quarter vs. the rest of the game).

Get in this guys face sunday and they won't do shit. It might be a defensive game, their defense is still tough as nails.

That would be the 03 Bucs who started out 1-5 and went 5-11. It was the worst collapse of a Superbowl winning team in NFL history.
