after the season. Per mort.

Who'd want him?

And what would you trade for him?

JBucc

Oakland?

There are plenty of QB-poor teams out there. Miami, Cleveland, Oakland, possibly Tampa or Green Bay depending on the offseason and what the feel like about their replacement candidates. A QB who can play competently on a leash and dink and dunk will have a job someplace, or at least be able to compete for one.

Oakland?

That would be a curious fit.

Gruden's head would explode in-game with Plummer as his QB. Literally.

I could see him working well with Gruden in Tampa.

A workmate told me today he heard on the radio that Miami was shopping Culpepper around and drew interest from the Faiders.

I'm looking for an article but cant find anything.

Anyone heard about this?

OK. But TRADE for him?

I'd trade scratched DVD of Napolean Dynamite for him.

Old rumor, and FWIW, he's worth a 7th rounder at this point.

I think he sucks as much as the next guy, but he did avoid crapping in his helmet for a good chunk of last year, and he could present a servicable bridge between now and a younger guy who is being groomed or something.

I kinda agree.

Ya' know what peeps....did you see our rookie QB Sunday?

He played lights out. Released that ball quickly made good decisions.
He made one mistake but the D is just not dominant anymore (old and Marinelli gone) and special teams lost that game for us.

Think the team wants to go with youth...but ya' never know Gru does like vets and we need depth. But Gru is explosive..makes me wondah what he could do to a rookies confidence.

He just threw another pick

servicable bridge > Jake the Mistake

If people are actually willing to trade for Plumber, I wonder what we could get for Huard?

Why would Denver let this rumor leak? What possible good would it do them?

About 3 years ago he always had early information that was more often than not reliable. He's lost his second level burst.

Martz is the only coach in the league I know of that seems to be indifferent to turnovers, and he's no longer a HC. I can't imagine many teams wanting Plummer.

BigChiefFan

The Browns and Lions might take a chance on him.

Lefites that can throw strikes will always have a job in MLB.

QB's with experience and mobility will always have a job in the NFL. For Crissakes Aaron Brooks got a starter job.

I'd see Jake getting cut for cap reasons after the season (I've no idea about his cap hit, just guessing). Then I can see him going to Detroit, Cleveland, Oakland or maybe Zona as a backup.
