Besides living in the past, is there a point to this thread?

You know, that was an exciting offense, but I don't know how "good" those Good ol Days actually were. To me, it was more like the Missed Opportunity Days. Had we had any kind of a Defense, we might have won a Super Bowl.

OMG!! Good eyes Chagrin. That toe should be considered a Nigerian Nightmare, dear God. I hope she at least snuck a bottle of whiskey in that thing. :)

The good old days were the 60's and early 70's.

Everything since has been crap.

What is the WWD insignia on Okoye's jersey?

1992
The club wears a black panel with the white initials “WWD” on the upper left chest of its jersey in memory of Director of Player Personnel Whitey Dovell, who passed away on May 11, 1992. The team also paints the number “86” on the field at Arrowhead Stadium to honor the memory of Hall of Fame DT Buck Buchanan, who passed away on July 16, 1992.

Thank you, sir. I never would have remembered/known/guessed that.

Then, you've been sold a bill of goods as to what the definition of "good ol days" really were ;)

The 90's were a good decade of football for the Chiefs - no doubt. But they severely underachieved when it meant something (Playoffs). There's no otherway to look at it. Not going to a SB in the 90's was a massive f-up - equalled only by pissing away said opportunity in 2003 by having the worst D in the NFL.

the good ole days were the chiefs of the 60`s. the last three years watching the offense was great to watch. its to bad we couldnt field an both a offense and a defense. will give DV credit, his offense`s were fun to watch.

lookin back, i think if we had made the play-offs at 8-7-1 in 89. we would have won the super bowl. we started at 2-6 firs 1/2 of season. second half we were on fire.
