Okay, so, here are my running backs.

Deuce McAllister, Willis McGahee, DeAngelo Williams and Noah Herron.

Williams is hurt and Green has returned in GB. Deuce's bye week is this week and McGahee's is the following week, I believe.

I've offered several players, or at least put them on the trading block.

Here is the proposed deal: I'd give up Amani Toomer for Fred Taylor.

Here are my WR's. Verrry thin.

Steve Smith, Amani Toomer, Eric Moulds, Brandon Stokely.

Is this trade worth it? Especially considering my two premiere backs have back to back bye weeks.

Fred Taylor only has two TDs and Maurice Jones-Drew seems like he's going to keep taking away touches from Taylor. I would hold off on this and try to do another trade. Its clear that you need help with the RBs, but you shoudl try and do better than Taylor.

I think, with my last waiver wire pick I'm going to pick up Leon Washington.

It seems he's the go to guy in New York and they play the Lions this week.

That way I don't have to trade away one of my starting WR's.

Is picking up Washington the smart thing to do?

This week they play Detwa then they play Cleveland.

It looks like I'll be going this route.

Another idea -

I could pick up Nate Washington from Pitt as my waiver pick up and trade Amani Toomer for Fred Taylor.

Thoughts?

I would never feel comfortable starting Washington. You must be in a big league if that's the cream of the waiver wire crop.

The cream of the waiver crop has already been skimmed through.

I'd be hesitant starting Washington as my #2 WR all season too.

The WR's I'm starting now - S. Smith and Toomer have both had their byes.

It's a 14 team league.

Is Washington "the man" in NYJ? Will he be starting against Detwa?

I have Fred Taylor in my league, and I wouldn't trade him for Toomer straight up. Not even with Maurice Drew's emergence. Taylor did well in his last game, and they both got their touches.

I would definitely pick up Leon Washington. I picked him up 2 weeks ago off the waiver wire, and will be playing him this week as Jackson and Gore are on byes. Also, see if Eric Parker is available. I'm playing him too this week. He seems to be developing a rapport with Rivers. JMO.

Here's a funny proposal I just got..it doesn't really bother me, but I don't want damaged goods.

Our league lets you carry over one player from the previous year.

He offered me D. Rhodes and Domanick Davis for DeAngelo Williams/Desmond Clark.

lol.

And in the e-mail after he proposed Davis he put (carryover, maybe?) in parentheses. Silly.

If there is a guy like Leon Washington on waivers, that's preferable to giving up Toomer. You're in worse shape at WR than at RB, other than your BYE weeks.

And I agree with Cormac on Eric Parker. Good chance he's available, and developing into the Bolts' #1WR (aside from Gates). Do you have a waiver limit?

We have 5 per season. I have used 4.

Here's another proposal, Dominic Rhodes for Desmond Clark.

My starting TE is Gates.

This trade doesn't hurt me at all. A good move?

Pull the trigger and save your waiver pickup. Rhodes is a sig. better play than Washington most weeks.

I decided to pull the trigger giving me these combinations the next two weeks.

McGahee/Rhodes
McAllister/Rhodes
