Starting a game 7 of the NLCS?? WTF?? When did this guy become an ace? He was never anything but mediorce as a Royal.

Do some research guys. He outpitched Roger Clemens in Game 7 of the '04 LCS as well...this has happened before.

Man how baseball has changed over 20 years or so. A 4 ERA is considered good?? Dudes with those kinds of numbers would never have been starters back in the day.

Its because #1 the American League is far superior to the NL as witnessed by anyone who has watched interleague play the last several years and #2 NL Pitchers don't face a DH. An extra free out every couple innings does wonders. There are no easy outs in the American League unless you're facing Angel Berroa.

Yup. The guy's has done very well for himself as a NL pitcher.

the NL is weak, decent pitchers in the AL become some what studs in the NL most of the time
