I really like the Tigers chances but I think the time off and young pitching will hold them back.

Cardnals in 7

Tigers in 6.

But then, I didn't think St. Loo would get past the Pads.

Tigers in 5. It was either the Star or USA Today tha had an article that says history favors the team with the most rest. Plus, STL should be emotionally drained after last night and could start the series off flat. Thier pitching is good enough to make off with one win, maybe two if the stars align.

I thought from the beginning the Cards had a chance to get to the Series because their pitching could keep up with the rest of the NL, especially with the Mets' injuries. I don't think their pitching matches up with the Tigers at all though. They're going to have to figure some things out quick or they're going to get shut down hard offensively. This could be a sweep, maybe Tigers in 5.

I had a chance to buy World Series tickets for face value. But I didnt check my email in time and they sold out.

Could have bought them for $50 each. They are sellin on ebay for $400 each.

So that means the Cards will sweep and they will take it all in STL when I would have been there. OK??!!!

So I assume you got the standing room only?

You assume wrong ole wise one....Section 433 row 3. Upper Deck but in row 3 down past 1st base. Not bad seats. I went to a game this year at Bush in a suite and it was right below these seats. Brand new ball park so the lines of sight are good practically everywhere.
