He still wasnt worthy of being picked where he was in the 2nd round.
1 TD in 3 years?? big whoop........We needed help on defense at the time and Darnel Dockett was still on the board. I do hope this is the start of good things for him.

He's still a shitty blocker and you can thank him for the extra 5 yards on the game winning FG

Even with this game today I'd still call him a bust. But if you want to crown his ass, THEN CROWN HIS ASS.

Yea, but if Tynes would have missed Wilson would have been crucified....

Why are the Chargers breakout games for our one game wonders? Slymo, Bo and now Wilson

Yea, but if...It was a stupid penalty that lengthened an already long attempt at winning the game.

Sorry, but I'm not into excusing dumb mistakes with "but we still won". That only works until the time the stupid mistake costs you a game.

Len Dawson sure couldnt, i could feel his disdain seeping through the speakers. After all Tynes had gone through i was positive Bigfoot had gauranteed OT. I'm still not sure where i stand with Wilson, he's like a box of chocolates......................

Wait, nevermind. You have yet to do that even once in your entire membership here. It's ridiculous of me to expect you to do that now.

wow...

2nd career start... first touchdown... Im glad he hasnt been hurt for any of that time, or maybe it was because he was also behind a Pro Bowl TE and an incredible Blocking TE in Dunn...

Im glad you guys didnt crucify LJ during his first couple of seasons... no one thought that would work out... geez... lighten up people...

Oh and on that penalty, he was induced by a charger... good thing the ref didnt blow that call... that was KW fault...

SNR you've got major issues. After reading your thread about banning me and now how you responded to my "tongue in cheek" comment about banning you, you friends need to do an intervention and have you give up the Planet for at least 4 or 5 weeks! Whew!

You should start a thread about it.....

Extra Point
10-23-2006, 09:01 AM
With TG and Dunn at TE, it seems that Wilson is the odd man out. The game shouldn't have come down to that last field goal, but not stopping LT and Gates were reasons enough that it did.

That extra point missed earlier on. Think Tynes was wanting to get that little monkey off his back?

Hand it to Huard for sucking it up and throwing the ball to the right place, to the right guys, with less than a minute in the game.

ROFL

I was, I have been lurking since he was drafted... That is the reason I made that comment... everybody did trash him and he worked out....just wanted to see if people learned their lesson of not passing judgment to early...

Guess not...

That kick was good from 60.

After re-watching the game last night. Kris Wilson sure is one hell of an athlete, but apparently he cant block worth a damn. He needs to do that to play in the NFL. /captain obvious

Maybe, just maybe with Cruz out for the season, Wilson will take advantage of this opportunity. He has to have some confidence after yesterday's game.

Herm said on Gameday that they were working out Boomer at FB. I think he would make a hell of a FB, assuming he can catch the ball occasionally.

We throw to the FB about 10 times a year. It's not like it's an important part of our arsenal. Sure it would be nice, but all I want from a FB at this point is a guy that punishes when running and is a wall when passing.

Well, we got a touchdown out of it against the Chargers and a critical 3rd down conversion against Arizona. I don't want it to be a staple of the offense like in the Marty days, but it is a nice checkdown option to have.

Dante Hall was a bust too. Oh, and then a coach finally decided to put him in a game and let him play...
