View Full Version : Good luck to the Raiduhs

Wow... I can't believe that defense alone has placed the Ravens and Giants where they are now. Damn!

Anywho, as I've always stated... once Denver is out, I'll cheer for the other teams in the division. I love the AFC West. Throw into the mix that I can't believe that Dilfer and that mediocre offense is in the title game and I hope the Raiduhs find a way to defeat the Ravens soundly in the title game.

It scares me to think that I would be forced to potentially watch the Ravens versus the Giants in the SuperBowl. Auuuuggghhh, how painful it would be to watch Dilfer vs Collins! Also, it pisses me off b/c Gus is as good as those two bums ... "damn you Gus!"

So, I'm hoping for a Raiduhs/Vikings SuperBowl. I think we would have an exciting, high scoring game and that's what I like. If Oakland goes, then I think they can beat either the Vikings or the Giants. If the Ravens go, then I see the Vikings coming out on top. That may not make sense to a lot of you, but that's what I think.

I don't think the Giants will beat the Vikings, simply b/c their offense can't have a game like they did yesterday and hope to win. The Vikings will get their yards and their points, so they will be in the SuperBowl. The only hope for the AFC is... (gulp), the Raiduhs. IF the Ravens were to meet the Vikings, they might contain the Vikings, but they won't stop them.

So.. good luck to the Raiduhs. Bring the title back to the AFC West. This would be good for the division, plus it will be nice to sweep the SB champs in 2001. :D

No way can I root for the Raiders. I hope they get beat 44-0 next week. Nothing could be worse than to have Oakland win the Super Bowl.

I would sooner root for Satan than the Raiders. Sorry Raider Fans, but this one goes way back and I'm sure you all feel the same way about the Chiefs.

I can only echo the previous statements. I can be a Donx fan, if the Chiefs are out of it, but no damned way will I ever root for the Raiders.

I'd rather be trapped on a all-naked desert island with Rosie O'Donnel, Whoopie Goldberg and Janet Reno then see the raiders goto the superbowl.

In all seriouness although, I would not be surprised at all if Baltimore beats them next weekend. If they stick Ray Lewis on Tyrone Wheatly like they did to Eddie George, which they probley will, and blitz Gannon mercilessly, I don't see the Raiders being able to score too many points. Thus allowing Baltimore to keep up and possibly win. Raiders lived and died with the running game and giving Gannon time to pass. Baltimore can take that away. Their defense looked awsome. Especially Ray Lewis. He is a big and scary dude.

My prediction is this: Crazy legs Gannon will take some big-time shots just like McNair did, possibly knocking him out of the game, the raiders are held to under 70 total rushing yards and the game will be decided by a field goal.

GO BALTIMORE!!!

Well this may get me kicked out of the he-man woman-haters club but I tend to root for the AFC west teams when the Chiefs go in the tank. Even worse I root for the Big 12, well the Big eight teams during March Madness. Yes, gulp, sigh, GAG, even Mizzou.

Sec - Dear gawd man, what did you get yourself into? Heck, I wouldn't even wish that upon a raider fan, nobody should have to dress like that chick.

At the end of the game next Sunday I hope that the #12 on Gannon's jersey looks more like #52 after a series hard hits that has him wondering if he is in Oakland or Kansas City. I would never root for Al "The Thug" Davis or his band of thugs to win anything especially a trip to the Superbowl!!

There is NO WAY IN HADES that I'll cheer a team that has pRison on it...Break his legs...well, no I still won't.

I hate everything about the Raiders, and cursed be their evil spawn.

I'm pretty much screwed at this point..I hate the Vikes, and Raiders, Can't cheer the Ravens(although i think they'll win) for 2 reasons..Dilfer, and Ray Lewis(should be in prison)

I guess the Giants don't bother me, but can't cheer a NY team of any sport...

Football season ended 2 weeks ago for me.

If Bob Dole wanted to read warm fugging fuzzies about the damned Rayduhs, Bob Dole would go hang out at the old Rayduh Love Nest on kansascity.com. Quit bringing this fugger back to the damned top of page one.

Oops...Bob Dole just did it Bob Dole's self...

Hmmm... 'bitter' doesn't even begin to describe the mood around here.

So, you guys would really like to see Dilfer and the Ravens in the SuperBowl?? Wow.

The Chiefs aren't in, so I don't really care. Once my team is eliminated, I tend to root for the underdog. Raiders or Ravens makes no real difference to me.

If the Raiders win, Chiefs fans will be subjected to countless Oakland Homers demanding that we "kneel down before the mighty Raiders."

That will suck.

xoxo~

too arthritic to kneel.

Bitter? F#cking bitter?

You bet your elevated ass Bob Dole is bitter. Watching some sleep deprived control freak retain a brain dead coaching staff that Bob Dole's chihuahua knew should have been released after last season, and squander an entire season through sheer stupidity tends to do that to Bob Dole.

I will adopt ANY team that plays the Raiders. I would root for the Leavenworth Sex Offenders if they played Oakland. I am a Chiefs fan, and will never cheer for a rival. I once tried to cheer for Elway to win a Superbowl so he would retire and what did it get me? Another friggin year of ole Horseface. When Oakland plays Denver I cheer for the officials.

Good luck my @ss. Let's see who to root for, broken down by team:

Faders:
Al Davis +
Andre pRison +
Rufinowski (the kicker) +
Al Davis +
Bitter Division Rival
= No support from me

Ravens:
Art Modell +
Ray Lewis +
Shannon Sharpe +
Art Modell +
= No support from me

Giants:
New York Team already won World Series +
It's New York
= No support from me

Vikings:
Maybe.

I liked MrBlond's idea. I'll probably just end up rooting for injuries (nothing permanent, but enough to last a game or two) and the officials. So far, I have been less than impressed by the quality of the playoff games - talk about some major yawners. Give me games like Miami/NYJ or KC/NE any day of the week.

To all you Chief fans (supposedly) who would actually like to see the Raiders win: Why not get together with your pal on that other board, and hoot and holler for your Silver and Black? Sad, sad, sad...

I'd rather eat the crotch end out of a skunk than root for the Raiders.

Hope the Raven eat the Raider worm and sh*t it out at 10,000 feet.

That would give me at least my first moment of glee since the Rams game at Arrowhead.

Go Birds!
