He made up for that bullshit block on rolle against the cardinals

Parker has made quite a few very strong blocks in his time as a Chief. He seems to enjoy the contact.

With as much as he enjoys hitting folks, his speed and his hands....he could be the next William Bartee.

That is the weakest "decleater" I have ever seen.

Yeah, great block, but finish the play, Samie. He was jumping up and down while Tony G. was fighting off three tacklers.

after the hit he started celebrating as the play kept going. He still isnt a #2 wr heck i dont even know if he is a #3 yet. He still has to learn alot. Nice block though atleast.

Wow that was a huge block. I heard the coaches on the radio saying how that really got the bench into the game .

I'm watching Metro sports right now and they keep replaying LJ's rumbling touchdown in the second quarter.

At the very end of that play? Parker freezing a CB at the goalline.

The guy's not a great blocker, but few WRs are. But god, the guy throws his body in there for his teammates, and he blocks as best as he can.

I know a lot of people get down on Parker for "failing" to block Rolle, but I give him credit for it. He was blocking Rolle in wide open field, 1-on-1, for twenty to thirty yards. That's extremely hard, especially when the guy is trying to plow you. He did a fine job.

Parker has his weaknesses, but his heart for blocking is a serious strength. Most of the time he does a solid job, and I for one am pleased at his efforts.

This is pretty interesting. Someone requested it, so here you see Larry just run over a DB. Get the F out of his way!

Parker has a key block right on the goalline...and pays for it by getting the back of his leg rolled up on. Nasty looking. Could have been an injury.

I gotta give him credit for throwing his body in there like that, but that eggo guy totally pussed out and didnt even try to hit back. I bet he takes some shit for it to when they watch the film. I am mildly impressed with Sammie's effort there...now if we could work on the catching aspect of his game.

Why? All I can see right there is him getting pushed in, almost knocking Huard over himself, and the defensive end almost punches the ball out of Huard's hand, because of Black's good job.

Nice awareness by Huard.

Yeah, he looked pretty solid there but one thing i noticed here and in the game stream that C-MAC so kindly provided was how well Huard was stepping up into the pocket to avoid that edge pressure. Huard showed some pretty damn good pocket awareness today.

On that play we were just lucky that Huard saw/sensed the pressure and stepped up into the pocket.

Black played better, but hes still gets shoved around into the backfield.

.

Actually, no. The fumble was the right tackle's fault, and the defender just blew right past him.

As a whole the line did good against the number 3 defense in football. But Huards awareness is what really saved us in this situation and others, SOLID back up. Wouldnt be suprised if he wants to be traded to start for someone else.

yeah, Sampson blew the block big time on Huard's fumble...

I don't even think it was Huard's fault...he was rolling out, that guy was untouched by Sampson and since he was rolling out, it was pretty much on his blind side.

I watched it a million times so STFU!

I saw it on the live game and thought it was a great block....and like bRainman said...I also noticed he was doing his victory dance, instead of running down field, knocking one of the 5 guys on 88 off. I also think he blocked the wrong guy....Gonzalez was pretty much past 20....he should have hit 48.

Thats 2 times this season I've seen Parker really clobber someone downfield.

LJ's hell-bent on getting in the endzone. I wonder how much shit McCree is going to get for being plowed under. ROFL

I think that's a big reason why he's starting. He's not afraid to hit people.

I saw this block when it happened and rewound the DVR. Was a great hit, and funny too, because isn't Parker about Dantes size? I agree though, instead of dancing, he should have been hitting the next guy.

Dancing? He wasn't dancing...he was jumping around, prancing like a little school girl which is worse than simple dancing. I was laughing at the absurdity of it. :shake:

This thread has helped me to understand Parker's problem. He has become who he was brought in to replace, Johnny Morton. Morton could block & drop clutch passes

Is there anybody here who thinks Parker is the answer at WR...even part of the answer? I don't. He may be adequate to be a third receiver, but he isn't nearly good enough to be a starting WR in the NFL in my opinion.

Direckshun

I don't think he's a solid #2, but I don't see him as a worthless waste of oxygen.

He has his weaknesses, but he helps the Chiefs win. He'll help them lose, too, but he's a big part of that offense, and his good days are usually reflected in Ws.

I think you're incorrect. On the fumble, the blitz came from the right side. There were too many to be blocked. Also, Huard probably hung onto the ball a bit too long.

honestley I can not remember seeing him drop too Many Big passes this year...

Maybe I'm alone on this but i think he has great hands for hard to catch passes...

on easy passes he drops em.. the ones right to him

but if he has to go behind him to catch it he has made some crazy catches

Parker dropped a pass against Cincy and two against Arizona. I can't think of another one he dropped.

Three drops in 6 games is acceptable IMO.
