Just heard on Cold Pizza how the FB position is slowly going away. Five teams don't even have one on their roster. Made me think of how we let T-Rich go without a fight. I think a lot of teams are using 2 TE's instead of a traditional FB. Having Dunn makes that a smooth transition for us, and now that we literally have zero FB's, the ability to use Wilson at H-Back makes it even smoother. It's strange, because FB's were, at one time, a critical part of a lot of offenses. Jim Brown was actually a fullback, and so was Rocky Blier, IIRC. Some other great ones I can think of are Robert Newhouse, Tom Rathman, Moose Johnston, Kimble Anders, Larry Centers, Mike Alstott, Lorenzo Neal, and T-Rich.

The Chiefs played without any cornerbacks for a while. That didn't really catch on.

Personally I think our running game would be notable better this year if we still had T-Rich.

Granted, no one could have predicted that we'd be facing 9 man boxes because we had a backup QB in the game. But I still think his value would have been inflated for us over the last 5 weeks.
